You do not want to miss out! Book now before we sell out this resort too!

Jamaica Fit Trip has a solid seven-year history, consistently bringing fitness enthusiasts, personal trainers and those seeking a healthy lifestyle together. We’ve brought people together who are seeking change and a challenge and not even COVID-19 could stop that. We got stronger together and kept each other encouraged during those difficult times, not able to meet in person, but learning to navigate our private Jamaica Fit Trip group on Facebook. We offered our followers online classes on fitness, nutrition, and finances.

Despite our country being on lockdown, a lot of participants decided to travel to Jamaica in November 2020 for our Fit Trip and had the time of their lives.

In 2021, our producer decided that people needed laughter after COVID, so we added a top-rated comedian to our roster of top-notch entertainment. Jamaica Fit Trip is known for its exercise and our entertainment! You never know who we will add to our lineup for 2022!

Our hosts for 2022 bring the fun and excitement that Jamaica Fit Trip is known for and make sure our participants are having the time of their lives. Our empowerment coaches help us connect with ourselves and each other as we face potential obstacles preventing us from living fulfilled, purposeful lives. Many participants come alone and leave with newfound lifetime friendships.

Jamaica Fit Trip will change your life.

Fitness And Weight Loss Program in New York

If you are like me in this stage of the pandemic, you might have put on a few pounds and want to shed them quickly before summer gets into full swing. There is an awesome 4 -week weight loss program in New York that can help you blast away those unwanted pounds. The best part, its home fitness exercises. This pandemic has changed a lot of the ways that we do things and how we can engage in activities that we took for granted. Fitness does not have to go out the window and at the same time, we can support an African American fitness club in New York. Fitness is also a major way we can show up for ourselves. It is self-care, stress relief, physically and mentally strengthening and empowering.

At first, I was resistant to home fitness. I kept telling myself if I could do it at home, I would not be in the gym, that I did not have the discipline needed to do it at home. I have every at home fitness DVD program you can think of, so why would this be any different? There was something about getting up and ready to go to the gym that I needed. Knowing that a trainer would be looking for me, that the other folks in my class would inquire about my absence motivated me to show up. It was about sweating and going through the workout together and building camaraderie. My gym buddies knew the struggle and shared in my disdain for mountain climbers. What I love about this 4-week weight loss program is the familiar feeling of camaraderie. The trainers are motivating and push you just the same. The loss of routine has been unsettling and getting back into fitness is not only good for our physical health, but our mental health too. In addition to the pandemic, there is the racism in this country that affects us as African Americans. We must take care of ourselves; mind, body, and spirit and this 4-week weight loss program is a great place to start, especially since we can do it at home. Home Fitness is something we can share with our families, building bonds and memories.

Home fitness is just as challenging as being in an actual gym and honestly, it is more convenient. Instead of commuting to the gym, its literally in your home. Instead of cold mornings headed to the gym, it is throwing on work out gear and heading into my living room, which has become my chosen space to work out. Another positive of home fitness and this 4-week weight loss program is that I am supporting African American fitness. In my classes, there are people who look like me and that means a lot, while in my own home, with people who can relate to my experiences and existence. Imagine an African American fitness club in New York. Trainers who look like you and can understand the ways we move our bodies, the trauma that is often stored there because of our history and what we need to feel motivated and successful on our weight loss journey. Weight loss is not just physical, it is mental as well. Hence adding on a few pounds during a pandemic. I do not know about you, but I certainly found myself eating more than a few comfort foods to pass the time and feel better. They don’t call it comfort food for nothing. I figured, if I can make it to my refrigerator for snacks, I can make it to my living room for home fitness.

If you think about it, when we focus on something, we really can make changes. 4 weeks will go by regardless of what we decide to do, so why not do a 4-week weight loss program, and get back on track? If there is anything that this pandemic has taught us it is that health truly is wealth. We can take care of our families and our bodies from the comforts of our home and to support an African American fitness club in New York. Now is the perfect time for home fitness exercise. Many of us are still at home under quarantine with states slowly reopening. We are living in unprecedented times, but one thing remains true and that is the importance of taking care of our bodies.
